Macklin Center Appointments

The Macklin Center, located in Building 4 on the first floor, suite 1322, is open for in-person, online, or walk-in appointments. We also offer study spaces for individual or group work. You can view our appointment policies here.

Online appointments are hosted through this platform. To access your virtual appointment:

  • Log in before your appointment
  • Click on your appointment time (in yellow)
  • Click "Start or Join Online Consultation"

Hours

Monday and Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (in-person and virtual options)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (in-person and virtual options)


Are you new to WC Online?

If you wish to make an appointment, click on the "Register for an account" button and set up an account using your USG ID. Then log in and go to the schedule to make an appointment.

  • Select Written & Oral Communication to receive feedback on an essay for class or a personal statement; assistance through all stages of the writing process, including brainstorming, organizing, revising, and polishing; practice your presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Select Student Organizations & Leadership Opportunities to receive assistance beginning a new student organization, planning an event, completing the USGLeads Leadership Program, or asking questions related to student leadership.
  • Select Time Management & Study Strategies for support with problem-solving time management, test-taking strategies, study strategies, and/or textbook reading strategies.
  • For Group Projects, email usg-macklin@umd.edu with the subject: GROUP APPOINTMENT and include three options (dates and times) that work best for your group.
